Hi, I'm Haruna Takeda.
I am a contemporary art curator and writer working between Tokyo and London. While my professional practice spans all forms of contemporary art, I have a particular research interest in video and time-based media. I have written for Maki Gallery, Tokyo (here, here and here) and Daiwa Foundation, London (here and here). Recent curatorial projects include exhibitions with Daisuke Kosugi, Aki Inomata, and Art Fair Asia Fukuoka.
I hold two post-graduate Master's degrees with distinction from Goldsmiths, University of London: an MA in Contemporary Art Theory (2020) and an MRes in Advanced Practices (2023).
